H2H Conversion Guidebook and Accompaniments 

NEW VERSION! 2025 Hotel to Hospital Conversion Guidebook (aka H2H Guidebook): Team Colorado created a Hotel2Hospital Guidebook to support the scalable, “just-in-time” conversion of a mid-size hotel or a large conference hotel into an Alternate Care Facility (ACF) to increase hospital surge capacity. Our Guidebook outlines how to convert a hotel into an operational hospital in 2-4 weeks.
H2H Estimator Tool: A macros-enabled spreadsheet that helps H2H Playbook users estimate H2H patient beds, staffing needs, equipment costs, and construction costs by inputting certain characteristics.

H2H Clinical Equipment List: The H2H Playbook was designed for a hotel with 150 rooms, but hotels vary in size and availability. Therefore, this clinical equipment can expand or contract as needed to fit the exact hotel’s specifications.

NEWLY UPDATED! H2H Conversion Costs: This excel sheet provides additional details on conversion costs for both a Mid-Size and Large Conference Hotel.   These estimates are accurate for Colorado as of the publication date of the H2H Playbook (September 2024). Actual costs may vary based on market conditions, location, and project scope. 
NEWLY UPDATED! H2H Emergency Response Plan Template: This template and blank for can be customized following the instructions in the H2H Playbook or to follow the emergency response protocols of the Partner Hospital.
